We really tried to keep sustainability in mind when starting this company. We're not perfect, but we are working on becoming 100% sustainable! Here is some information on our products.
Swimsuit Materials:
Vita: 78% Recycled Nylon and 22% Lycra Xtra Life
Repreve: 84% Recycled Polyester and 16% Elastane
Ethical Manufacturers:
Out Of The Blue Swim has consciously been produced at a small production house on the idyllic island of Bali, Indonesia. The production house is located 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist destination and surf break - Canggu. Opened in 2002, our manufacturers are an ethical, family owned and operated business. They currently employ 15 staff, most of who have worked from the beginning. We have a third party team on the ground overseeing the working conditions and production to ensure transparency in the process.
All manufacturer workers are paid a living wage. Our hats and tote bags are made in China. All swimsuits are made in Bali.
